Sign Requirements

Permanent Signs

Ground Signs

  • 1 primary ground sign per parcel (possibly 2 on corner lots)
  • 15 feet in height
  • 1 square foot of signage for every 2 feet of road frontage (150 square feet maximum)
  • Electronic Message Boards allowed, up to 1/3 of the overall sign size
  • Directional signs allowed (i.e., enter, exit) and up to 50% of it may have company name, logo, etc. 4 square feet maximum

Wall Signs

  • Total number of signs shall not exceed 10% of the front facade of the site.

Temporary Signs

  • Grand opening signs permitted (32 square feet for 30 days)
  • New ownership signs permitted (32 square feet for 30 days)
  • Temporary Signs for special events as part of a Temporary Use permit for tent sale, seasonal sales, etc. (32 square feet for duration of the event)
  • Cold air balloons allowed for 5 days with additional 32 square feet of signage
  • Real Estate Development signs to indicate a proposed start or availability (32 square feet)
