Luck of the Irish Party

We had so much fun with our dress like a leprechaun contest last year that we decided to have a party and celebrate St. Patrick's Day and channel our inner leprechaun. Steve Floyd will be our entertainment and the dance floor will be open so dust off those dancing shoes. Catering provided by Century Banquet Center (menu includes pork chop with mushroom sauce, oven roasted red skin potatoes, green beans, salad, roll and butter, dessert, and a choice of non-alcoholic beverages). Not Irish? Don't be green with envy, all are welcome!
Diabetes Prevention Program

Small Changes can make a difference in your health and help you prevent the development of Type 2 Diabetes. The Diabetes Prevention Program is a yearlong evidence-based program that helps participants prevent or delay the inset of Type 2 diabetes by learning how to eat healthy, add physical activity to their routine, manage stress, stay motivated and solve problems that can get in the way of healthy changes. It has proven to help people with pre-diabetes cut their risk in half for developing Type 2 Diabetes.
Through this program, you will work as a team to focus on healthy eating, getting started with physical activity, overcoming stress and staying motivated. After the initial 16 weekly session, you will meet monthly for added support to help maintain your progress.
