Granny Square Workshop: Join Our Community Quilt!

Do you love making Granny Squares, but don't know what to do with them? Or maybe you'd like to learn how to make fun new designs? Well, you're in luck! Particpate in our Community Blanket project taking place from Sept. 15 to Dec. 31 2025.
Two classes will be provided to showcase some beginner-friendly granny square designs, but anyone can bring in 5"x5" granny squares to contribute to our blanket. If you donate a square, you'll receive a raffle ticket that will enter you for a chance to win the blanket at the end of the year! You are welcome to donate as many granny squares as you'd like, but each participant will only receive one ticket for each of the first 10 squares donated. Granny square donations will be accepted throughout the fall at the Adult Services Reference desk located on the 2nd floor, and the raffle will take place near the end of December.
