[ARCHIVED] Sterling Heights to Host 46th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony & Parade on May 26

MDP 2024

The City of Sterling Heights and its Arts Commission will host the 46th Annual Sterling Heights Memorial Day Parade to be held on Monday, May 26, 2025.  The parade theme is "We Are One: Honoring Our Past, Uniting Our Future".

The Sterling Heights Memorial Day Parade is one of the City’s great events for residents and visitors to experience. Hundreds of spectators line the parade route each year. Marching bands, scout troops, civic groups and individuals are all welcome to march in the parade.

Applications for participation in the parade are now available on the City’s website at sterlingheights.gov/memorialday

Memorial Day activities begin promptly at 9 a.m. in the City Center Courtyard between City Hall and the Police Department as hundreds gather for a solemn tribute to all veterans who died in the line of duty. At 10 a.m., the parade kicks off and proceeds south on Dodge Park Road to Metropolitan Parkway.

For more information on the Memorial Day Parade or Ceremony, please contact the Sterling Heights Community Relations Department at 586-446-2470.
