[ARCHIVED] Sterling Heights Area Community Foundation to Hold 2024 Annual Meeting on April 8

The Sterling Heights Area Community Foundation is holding its 2024 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 12 p.m., at the Sterling Heights Community Center.

The Foundation will present grants to the City for its annual Sterlingfest Festival, Cultural Exchange, Diversity Dinner; Parks and Recreation Community Center, Dodge Park Farmers Market, Music in the Park, Ice Rink, Youth Baseball, Youth Softball, Youth Basketball, Adult Freedom Park Trail Chair to enable individuals who need physical assistance to enjoy the Parks and their many trails, Dog Park Shade Shelter at Delia Park, CoolHub at Nelson Park; Police Department Smart Moves Program, Maple Lane Elementary Program, Building Bridges with Badges Program, Drug Education Awareness Program; Library Summer Reading Program; the Utica Community Schools Career Focus Program, the Macomb Science Olympiad, the Play Place for Autistic Children in Sterling Heights and the Sterling Heights Scholarship Program.

The community at large is invited to join city, county and other guests at this Annual Meeting.

During the one-hour meeting, Foundation leaders will highlight key accomplishments, review financial status, share growth plans and present grants to many community functions and activities that support its mission to help improve the quality of life of Sterling Heights area residents through cultural, educational and recreational enhancements and opportunities. Grant awardees will share their use of Foundation grants. Endowment partners present will discuss plans for their earnings.
